I would like to know everything I need to DJ with a laptop, and how to do it. I have some DJing experience, but not much. I am starting to host some high school dances, etc. Anyway, besides speakers, stands, etc, I don't want to spend any more than about $400 on equipment. So, for everything from mixers to software to cables, no more than $400 because I'm saving my money for nice speakers. I don't yet have a laptop for it but I need one anyway for everyday use so I figured it could double as a music player for the DJing. By the way, what kind of soundcard should I have? Any other recommendations, advice, and ';how-to's'; would be appreciated.
Thanks!How do I DJ with a laptop?
With the combination of sony sound forge audio studio 9.0, and studio recorder from APH (American printing house for the blind), you will be the best DJ. You can faid music, volume, speed, pitch, and everything under the sun. With the wacky corusis from sony sound forge audio studio9.0, that can be your scratching device. Oh and to record music from an outside source like imeem, an external soundblaster live soundcard with a 2.0 USB connection would do you just fine.
