DJ connecting/speakers/speaker wire/amps/equipment/set up?

I have two Acoustic Audio BR12 1000 watt rms/pair with an impedance of 8 ohms, and an 800 watt thump dj system which has dual 8';subs and speakers in it with an impedance of 4 ohms. what size amp do i need? the two Acoustic Audio speakers can use heavy gauge speaker wire or dual standard 1/4'; jacks to connect them and the 800 watt speaker system uses regular speaker wire to connect. i only want to use the gold plated connectors for everything to have the highest possible quality sound. but very confused on what equipment i need... i want to hook up a laptop through usb, a wireless mic, and an ipod... how can i go about doing this with a limited budget? do i need a mixer? thanks...DJ connecting/speakers/speaker wire/amps/equipment/set up?

ipod, laptop, mic connect to mixer inputs (yes, you need a mixer)





mixer outputs connect to amp inputs
